01Connect an account
On the home page, use Connect your TikTok account. You are taken to TikTok's own authorisation screen, which lists exactly what you are granting. Approve it and you come back to a page showing which account is now connected, with its display name and avatar.
Check that name before you publish anything. It is the whole reason we read it.
What you are granting, and why

Nothing else is requested. lofigangs cannot read your messages, your followers, or anyone else's content.
02Review a post
When a story is ready, the desk receives the finished post for review: the visual as it will appear, the caption as it will read, and the choices to make. Review happens on Telegram, which is where the editor already is — on a phone, often away from a desk.
At that point the editor decides:
- Publish — send it out now.
- Send to drafts — put it in TikTok drafts to finish there.
- Edit — change the caption, or regenerate the visual.
- Reject — it does not go out at all.
There is no automatic publication. If nobody approves a post, nothing happens.
03Publish, or send to drafts
Publish posts straight to the connected account with the caption and privacy level chosen at review time. Use it when the post is finished.
Send to drafts uploads the video to the account's TikTok drafts instead. Use it when you want TikTok's own editor for the final pass — sounds, effects, text overlays, trimming. The post is not public until you publish it yourself inside the TikTok app.

These are TikTok's own limits. A file outside them is rejected by the platform, sometimes only after the post was submitted, so the desk is told when a publication fails and why.
05When something fails
- The authorisation link expired — start again from the home page. Authorisation links are single-use and valid for 15 minutes.
- Publication failed — the failure is recorded against the post with the platform's own error, and the desk is notified. The post is not silently marked as published.
- The post is not on the profile — check the account's TikTok drafts. If it was sent to drafts, it is waiting there, not public.
- A post went out twice — it should not be possible. Each publication is claimed with a lock before any call to the platform, so two approvals of the same post cannot both go through.
06Disconnect
In lofigangs, use Disconnect this account on the connected-account page. It revokes the authorisation with TikTok and deletes the stored tokens in the same operation.
You can also do it entirely from TikTok, without us: Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions, then remove lofigangs. That takes effect immediately.
To also have the stored data erased, follow the data deletion instructions. Posts already published stay online; delete them in the TikTok app if you want them gone.
